Vincent Tinajero
Bio

Vincent Tinajero joined the MCC baseball coaching staff in the Fall of 2025 as the Tigers' Pitching Coach. A native of Santa Ana, CA, Tinajero brings a wealth of competitive experience and a unique perspective on player development to the MCC mound. His collegiate journey spanned five seasons (2020–2025), during which he competed across multiple levels of the game. He began his career at Illinois Central College (2020–2021) before moving on to play at the NCAA Division I level with Bradley University (2021–2023) in Peoria, IL. He ultimately concluded his playing days at Cornell College, a Division III program in Mount Vernon, IA.

What distinguishes Coach Tinajero’s coaching style is his diverse background on the field. After spending his first three seasons as a catcher, he successfully converted to a pitcher-only role for his final two years of eligibility.

Coach Tinajero graduated from Cornell College in 2025 with a degree in Education. By combining his academic background with his extensive on-field experience, he is dedicated to fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence within the Marshalltown pitching staff.
