Bio

Tim Mull was hired in 2025 as an Assistant Softball Coach. Mull was a former 4-sport athlete who graduated from nearby GMG High School. He has been a volunteer coach with Marshalltown Girls Softball Association (MGSA) since 2010, Marshalltown Community School District, and Iowa Blitz Fastpitch (14u and up). He currently serves on the MGSA Board of Directors where he strives to improve local softball participation by scheduling weekend games at the MGSA fields on the MCC campus and putting together instructional camps. 

For the past 3 years, Mull has provided pitching and hitting instruction for girls age 8-17 in Marshalltown and surrounding communities including, but not limited to, East Marshall, West Marshall, BCL-UW, Meskwaki and South Tama. 

Mull's daughter is a former DIII pitcher at Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. After following the Wartburg Knights for the past three years, he now has more time on his hands and is excited to work under Coach Hartman and with the incoming MCC Tigers softball players. Outside of softball, Mull is a CNC machine operator at Emerson where he has worked since 2006.
