MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA – The Marshalltown Community College Men's Basketball team is excited to announce the MCC Men's Basketball Skills Academy this fall. The academy is open to boys and girls of all skill levels and is designed to help players build strong fundamentals and improve their game through live competition.
The skills academy will focus on two key areas: skill development and 3-on-3 games. Participants will receive focused instruction on shooting, ball handling, passing, and footwork, and will then apply these skills in small-sided, half-court games to improve decision-making and learn how to play together as a team.
The three-session academy will take place on Sundays, October 5, 12, and 19, at the Student Activity Center on the MCC Campus. Ages K – 2nd grade will take place 4 to 5:15 pm and 3rd-8th graders from 5:30 to 6:45 pm. The cost is $35, which includes all three sessions.
Online registration is open now and will close on October 1. You can register online at https://marshalltown.prestosports.com/sports/mbkb/2025-26/Basketball_Skills_Academy.
